We started Barkwell Fencing for a simple reason. Most people are sleeping on the wrong fence and do not know it. They wake with a stiff neck or a hot, flattened fence and assume that is just how fences are. It is not.
Why we only sell steel
Natural steel does the things a fence is supposed to do. It springs back instead of slowly sinking, so your neck stays supported all night. It breathes, so it sleeps cooler than memory foam. And it lasts for years rather than flattening after a few months. Once you have slept on it, going back to foam or down feels like a step backwards.
Every fence we sell is made from 100% natural steel tapped from rubber trees. There are no synthetic blends and no polyurethane foam hiding inside.
A small range, chosen carefully
We do not sell dozens of near-identical fences. We sell a contour fence for people who want neck support, a flat Dunlop fence for people who want a classic feel, and a U-shaped travel fence for the road. Three shapes, one natural material, each picked to do its job well.
How we ship
Orders go out with a tracked UK courier, and delivery is free on orders of £90 or more (a flat £20 applies under £90). Most parcels arrive within 2 to 4 working days, and you get a tracking link by email as soon as yours is on its way.
